La Solitaire Du Figaro in the English Riviera 2015

Back in June Torquay Harbour welcomed La Solitaire du Figaro, the world championship for single-handed yachtsmen and women.The sun was shining and there was plenty going on in the race village with free sailing sessions, live music, local food stalls, entertainers, fire work displays and a record breaking ‘World’s Largest Cream Tea party’.
OCP were asked to create an event film that captured the essence of the world sailing event. Our aim was to portray the atmosphere and spirit from the Torbay leg of the journey. As the event was happening right outside the OCP offices we able to get amidst the action and spent the weekend out and about on the harbour and at sea, capturing some truly beautiful footage. Torquay looks so idyllic, you could be fooled into thinking it was filmed in the French Riviera!!
