Lighting Technician

OVO are seeking a Lighting Technician to join our summer site-specific production of The Merry Wives of Windsor at St Paul’s Walden Bury. Shakespeare meets Spinal Tap as this classic class comedy gets the full OVO Treatment with a live 80s soundtrack, tight trousers and big hair.

The technician will take a lead role in designing and operating the lighting aspects, with duties including get ins and outs, setting up of equipment, operation of equipment during performances and the ability to work independently. You will need to have excellent organisational and communication skills and a sound knowledge of technical theatre. Applicants must be available Saturday 27th June to Saturday 4th July inclusive and for production meetings on the lead up to the run.

OVO are the resident theatre company at the Maltings Arts Theatre in St. Albans and is involved in the management and day to day running on behalf of St. Albans City and District Council. OVO produces around half a dozen innovative, imaginative and inspiring productions both locally and nationally.
