Craft course online: Explore The Potential Of Paper

Craft course online: Explore The Potential Of Paper

This online, interactive, creative & fun course will include discussion, tutor introduction, demonstration & practical crafting to create beautiful & useful items, all from the simplest paper which might otherwise go to waste. Think about how a few simple but creative techniques can transform waste paper into fabulous items of many kinds such as bags, baskets, bowls, coasters, table mats, bookmarks, wall art, sculptures or beads & jewellery! Processes of crafting with paper are often found to be therapeutic & relaxing but can sometimes also be exploratory or challenging! This may include rolling, coiling, threading, quilling, basketry, weaving, folding & pulping. Old paper can create an unique, interesting finish for projects, but you could also paint & add to your creations in any way you wish. Please bring old paper (or new if you prefer) - old magazines, brochures, newspapers / junk mail, scissors & glue to week 1 when we will begin coiling projects & choose further projects.
