5k in one month

The SWG has a regular challenge to write a new piece of a given length in one month. Tonight we shall discuss who is taking part and how much they would like to commit to. The purpose is to get that ink flowing and ideas onto paper.
We suggest 5k as a modest target but you can choose your own target because only you know how much you really want to write, but we set the deadline to give you a spur to get on with it. When complete you can ask for feedback on your work, or quietly file it in a private place until you are ready to unveil it.
Those of us who join in have always found it enjoyable and productive.
