Praise for Shiphay's 'Speaking in Tongues'

Praise for Shiphay's 'Speaking in Tongues'

In March, the Shiphay Amateur Dramatic Society presented a break from the normal run of amateur productions, offering Andrew Bovell's 'Speaking in Tongues', directed by Peter Davis.

Two season ticket holders contacted the Society after the run to share their thoughts:

"I write to congratulate SADS - I saw Speaking in Tongues last night (Thursday), and it was brilliant, innovative, brave. The Director has done a wonderful job, with a play that could have fallen totally flat. It was a play that explored lots of emotions, and we certainly talked about it afterwards. Thank you for a wonderful evening of entertainment."

"Thank you all for the wonderful play you put on for your March production. A most enjoyable evening. Thank you for taking courage and presenting us with an unusual but great show."

We are always delighted to receive feedback after our productions.
