Local Food Festival Week

Local Food Festival Week

The Local Food Festival Week is a series of free events celebrating local food growing and healthy eating that culminates in the Festival itself at Paddock Village Hall on Saturday September 13th.
The event, supported by Kirklees Council and organised by Paddock Community Trust, includes food growing and planting workshops, Cook and Eat sessions and an allotment open day. Taking place at Paddock Village Hall, West View Cafe and the Branch Street Community Allotments, the events link healthy eating with food growing and aims to encourage more people to see the benefits of growing their own fruit and vegetables.

West View Cafe at Paddock Village Hall will offering themed specials from around the world on the Saturday and throughout the previous week.
The week includes an Open Day at Branch Street Community Allotments, Paddock on Wednesday, September 10th from 12 - 3pm. Come along and enjoy some free allotment food and see how you can get involved.
