St Albans Folk Festival concert with Flook

St Albans Folk Festival concert at 8pm in the Roman Theatre at Verulamium, also forms part of Ovo Theatre’s open air Roman festival. The guests will be the iconic band Flook. After achieving national and international acclaim, Flook took a break in 2008. After returning to the stage, they have released a new album, Ancora. With the flutes and whistles of Brian Finnegan and Sarah Allen, the guitar of Ed Boyd and the bodhran of John Joe Kelly, Flook will weavie and spin traditionally rooted tunes into an enthralling sound in Sarah Allen’s home town of St Albans.

Supporting them will be Watford Folk Club songwriting competition winner, Glenn Koppany and New Roots 2019 finalist, singer and fiddle player, Nancy Potts.
