Appliqué wall hangings at The Making Space

Suitable for complete beginners to those who have used Appliqué before, come join me for this experimental and playful workshop making small textile wall hangings as gifts or a keepsake. I will introduce you to this simple but effective technique and help you develop a small coat of arms personalised to you as well as showing you innovative ways of displaying this to show off your work if you wish! As with all my workshops, resource and instructional hand outs are provided so that you can take the learning home with you.

Come and join me for tea, coffee cake and a great couple of hours which will help unleash your creativity and try something new for an affordable price.

The timings are 18:30 - 20:30

The workshop will take place at The Making Space in our new shopfront space on Market Place (the old jewellery shop at the front of the packhorse centre) in the centre of Huddersfield. We'll be running a series of weekly evening workshops during the run up to Christmas, see our events tab for more info.

The venue is wheelchair accessible however the building does not have an accessible toilet.
