Huddersfield Summer Exhibition

The Making Space is very proud to present the first Huddersfield Summer Exhibition. Members, Rachael, Helen and Nicola have worked together to create an excellent opportunity for local artists to be showcased and to provide a unique celebration and shopping experience for the town.

Work will be available to buy throughout the exhibition. Any businesses/individuals that make a purchase can choose to have the buyers name displayed next to the piece for the duration of the exhibition. We are offering high-quality and diverse work available from around £40.

Artist, Rob Martin has created a new Felix the cat painting to mark the occasion. Following the fame of the piece at the Railway Station, Rob has painted Felix in a Huddersfield Town Football Club kit. This will be offered to the highest bidder in a silent auction running through the exhibition. All proceeds from this piece will be donated by Rob to Kirkwood Hospice.

Calder Graphics in the Byram Arcade are generously supporting this event by donating a £50 voucher to match the Making Space £50 for the public vote prize. Please come along and vite for your favourite piece.

This is an opportunity to really help champion local arts by supporting the art work of local artists and bring new audiences and experiences to the town centre.
