The Woolly Shepherd

The Woolly Shepherd Acoustic Absorption Designers

The Woolly Shepherd makes acoustic absorption products from 100% British wool, much of which it collects right here in Somerset. These acoustic clouds and wall boards are made in our Somerset workshop and shipped around the country to solve acoustic reverberation problems.

Our clouds and boards are in schools, restaurants, village halls and community spaces, churches, offices, homes and even stately homes thanks to the National Trust, who use them in several of their reception areas and cafes.

The clouds are made by hand using needle-felting techniques, and the wool boards are upholstered by hand in a range of organic, recycled and breathable fabrics.

The boards can also be decorated with original artworks by Sally Hebeler, one of our directors and a well known printmaker.

The Woolly Shepherd works hard to be a sustainable company in the full meaning of the word - running a successful business in an ethical and environmentally aware way.
