I'm a Devon based artist archiving regional dialect and turning some old favourites into fresh contemporary prints for the home. I spend my time scouring the local history sections of libraries for Westcountry dialect which I then turn into fun text-based prints. Reviving them from dusty old books to be enjoyed in the home or as a gift.

I established The Dialect Society in 2017 as a celebration of the old lingo we rarely hear these days. Gathering together words, phrases, poetry and songs as they were spoken by our ancestors. So many of those that came not long before us made written records that reveal how our dialects have changed through time. It's those books, documents and anyone that has ever uttered a regional gem that form my dialect society.

Keeping the lingo alive!
