MORE DEADLY THAN WAR EXHIBITION ACTIVITY DAY

MORE DEADLY THAN WAR EXHIBITION ACTIVITY DAY

10am - 1.30pm
Normal Museum Admission Charges Apply

To mark the opening of the Museum's More Deadly Than War: Spanish Flu and the Threat of Pandemic exhibition, there will be an activity day for all the family to help visitors understand the story of the most deadly pandemic in human history.

Artist Shelley Castle will be making a 'Wellbeing Medicine Cabinet', and would like people to join her to make their own sand art 'medicine bottle' to add to the collection.

The Squircle arts team will also be on hand to investigate health through art, with a range of activities for all ages. Start your Arts Award journey by exploring artists influenced by the Spanish Flu pandemic. Create your own posters for the 'catch it, bin it, kill it!' & flu vaccination campaigns and enter the Museum’s poster competition.
