Paignton Picture House, one of the oldest purpose-built cinemas in Europe, closed in 1999. Anthony tells the remarkable story of its 85 years as a working cinema.

Lectures every Tuesday & Wednesday. (10:45 - 12 noon)

Lectures are free to Torquay Museum Society Members and costs £5 on the door to Non-Members
