ROALD DAHL THEMED CHARACTER PUPPETMAKING WORKSHOP WITH DOORSTEP

As part of 'Sharing Stories' a festival celebrating Storytelling and Writing on the English Riviera

To celebrate 'World Book Day', Torbay Museums (Brixham Heritage Museum, Torre Abbey Museum and Torquay Museum) will be hosting a weekend of events, tours, talks and presentations with the theme of 'Sharing Stories'

‘Puppet making workshop’ in association with Doorstep Arts

Doorstep Arts will be leading a fantastic drop in Puppet Making Workshop inspired by Roald Dahl’s most loved characters. The workshop will be held for children aged from 3-14years, parents are required to attend with their child.
There will be a prize for the best made puppet for each age group: 3-5yrs, 6-9yrs, 10-14yrs with the winner being announced on social media on Sunday 4th March.

All events are FREE to attend, but a valid Museum entry ticket for adults for Torquay Museum/Torre Abbey Museum events is required*. Pay once and get in free for a year. Children enter for FREE during 'Sharing Stories' Saturday Festival.
