Songwriting Workshop (Fall into Autumn Virtual Festival)

Cara Luft and JD Edwards are talented and charismatic singer-songwriters who usually tour the globe as mighty Canadian folk/roots duo The Small Glories. They will discuss the songwriting process using their own award-winning material as a starting point, with opportunities for Q & A. This is a rare opportunity to learn from two of the best songwriters around!

Saturday 24th October 2020, 4pm to 5.30pm. Join from 3.45pm. PLEASE NOTE - the workshop will be conducted online via Zoom and a link will be emailed out to all participants before the workshop. You do not need a Zoom account set up beforehand, just use our link to join in. Join the event between 3.45pm and 4pm. Workshop will run from 4pm to 5.30pm.

Powerhouse Canadian duo The Small Glories formed in 2016 and have released two full-length albums and two EPs since then, touring the world almost constantly until the pandemic struck, and achieving multiple awards and much acclaim in the world of folk and Americana music. Some of their recent awards include 2020 Canadian Folk Music Award Winners for Contemporary Album of the Year, Ensemble of the Year and Vocal Group of the Year, Folk Alliance International's 2019 International Folk Awards Artist of the Year and 2020 JUNO Award Nominees for Traditional Roots Album of the Year.
