Join True North Music for our first one-day Americana & Bluegrass mini-fest, featuring a line-up of simply outstanding bands from the USA and UK:

AJ Lee & Blue Summit (USA) - sensational contemporary bluegrass & Americana quintet from California
Jaywalkers (UK) - classy Americana/folk trio from Cheshire, with glorious bluesy vocals and outstanding musicianship
Zoe & Cloyd (USA) - North Carolina bluegrass and folk duo with gorgeous songs and soaring vocal harmonies
Tilter Wheel trio (UK) - barnstorming, fun and entertaining British bluegrass heroes

Plus workshops in Appalachian step dance (with Jake & Dan) and harmony singing (with Zoe & Cloyd). We hope there will be some informal jam sessions too! Approx timings 2pm - 11pm. True North Music is an award-winning Huddersfield-based music promotion and booking agency, winner of Yorkshire Gig Guide's Outstanding Promoter Award in 2017 and a 2019 finalist in their Grassroots Music Awards. We've been running our popular concert series for five years, at close to 50 concerts where we have showcased some of the finest American, Canadian and British talent in bluegrass, Americana and folk/roots.

Marsden is a scenic village set in picturesque Yorkshire countryside eight miles west of Huddersfield, with good rail and bus links and a wide range of pubs, restaurants and accommodation options close by. Our venue Marsden Mechanics is in the heart of the village.
