Grounding us to Earth through the Digital - Talk

Join UH Arts' Digital Artist-in-Residence Maria Meyer in a talk and screening of her work-in-progress developed in response to the theme: Grounding us to Earth through the Digital.

The talk presents Maria's research on the connection with Earth and nature through documentation and processes she carried out as our Digital Artist-in-Residence over the summer. Maria has been visiting the fascinating Pinetum at the University of Hertfordshire's Bayfordbury Campus which an observatory and 40 hectares of many different natural habitats to engage with nature.

This talk will also allow you to ask Maria questions about how she captured the flora, fauna and landscape with photography, moving image, and sound to create an immersive audio-visual experience.
