Ways With Words Festival of Words and Ideas

For ten days each July, The Telegraph Ways With Words Festival brings together an eclectic mix of the country’s best contemporary writers, poets, journalists and politicians to give talks, debate, perform and inspire.

With its Medieval courtyard, majestic Great Hall and extensive gardens, Dartington Hall, Devon, creates a captivating setting for this stylish festival of words and ideas.

On the festival fringes visitors can mingle with writers in the White Hart Bar, wander the extensive gardens, or simply relax in a deckchair with a good book.

Tickets for single events as well as day tickets and festival passes are available.

The 2010 festival (9-18 July) line-up includes: Martin Amis, Melvyn Bragg, Kate Adie, Giles Coren, Jane Fearnley-Whittingstall, Richard Herring, Michael Buerk, Andrew Motion, Sarah Raven, Barbara Trapido, Jeremy Hardy and Richard Long.
