Wild About Wool: Pin and Peg Loom Weaving

Wild About Wool: Pin and Peg Loom Weaving

PIN AND PEG LOOM WEAVING WITH TESS ANSELL (Beginners welcome)
Try speedy weaving with a wooden frame, yarn and a crochet hook to make a square of fabric that sets warp and weft at the same time. You will create modular, 'patchwork' pieces that can be sewn together to create wearable accessories or cushion covers and throws for the home. You will also learn how to weave on a peg loom with yarn and fleece creating a more robust fabric for home furnishings. These are very accessible techniques suitable for all skill levels. Great to teach to children at home or in school.

All day sessions from 10.30 – 4.00pm. Cost £50 (£35 WaW members) which includes refreshments, a light lunch, materials and a pin loom to take home and continue creating.
