We are excited to welcome 2017 Flourish Award winner Liz K Miller for this exciting masterclass in chiné-collé intaglio printing! Using the delicate process of Chine-collé, participants in this workshop will combine multiple intaglio images into single prints, providing wider printing options for etchers, through experimentation with layers, colours and textures.

Techniques covered will include printing onto lightweight Chine-collé paper from pre-made etching plates, combining these images with a second plate, and bonding the two sheets of paper together in the Chine-collé process. Participants will learn skills in advanced multi-plate intaglio printing techniques, paper bonding, Chine-collé glue making, and multi-layer image possibilities.
