Level Up! in sound for media

Join YSWN for another inspiring and empowering day of hands-on practical workshops, career talks and panel discussions with industry sound professionals, plus opportunities to visit exhibitions and see behind the scenes at the Museum. This time we'll be focussing on producing sound for the moving image.

Aimed at all women, non-binary and gender non-conforming people with an interest in sound for media, highlights include:

*Tours of the National Science & Media Museum’s Stores – see some fascinating objects from the Sound Technologies collection that aren't currently displayed
*Career presentations by those working in the TV & film industry
*Location Recording workshops with Laura Clough
*Opportunity to collaborate and perform an improvised score for film
*A chance to visit Above the Noise and other current exhibitions at the Museum including the interactive light and sound gallery WonderLab
*Networking opportunities to make new contacts and explore the difference you can make
