The Feijoa project is a new and exciting community initiative company working in partnership with Cockington Court, to promote equality in a community setting for those who might be disadvantaged, particularly those who may have a learning disability.

We have secured partnership funding that allows for two new and exciting positions to become available. We are looking for application tenders to provide a

The Project seeks to provide basic garden maintenance skills for vulnerable individuals (particularly those from a learning disability background). The project has been delivering for 2 years and now seeks to build upon this partnership to further develop a community network and attract further funding to assist in under pinning and further developing the project.

This is a great opportunity for two imaginative, hardworking and equal opportunity minded individuals who want to get involved in developing a new and dynamic opportunity for both the partners, those participating in the project and the community.

The gardener post should be willing to use their gardening skills to develop a non-traditional Walled Art Garden whilst keeping the integrity of an organic garden.

Both positions will be part time up to 18 hours, delivered over 2 – 3 days per week. The initial contract will have a degree of flexibility but will run until September with a possible further contract offer dependant on partnership funding and successful delivery.
