Job Description
Attik Dance was founded as a professional dance company in 1989 and engaged creatively within community, professional and education settings.
The company has continued to grow and develop over recent years and now delivers a wide range of projects and services throughout the community. As a result Attik Dance are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and talented individual to become part of their team.
This is an apprenticeship opportunity with on the job training. You will be responsible for co-ordinating and developing community based projects by supporting the existing staff team. Whilst in training you will undertake a Creative Apprenticeship in Community Arts Management with Plymouth College of Art. This will include work based learning alongside Regional workshops that will seek to develop your understanding and skills within the creative sector.
Attik Dance are seeking an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication, IT and co-ordination skills. You will need to come with an experience of dance and any teaching within this area would be an advantage. You need to have a passion for dance and community development. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone wishing to gain valuable experience for a career within this field.

Please Note - Training on the Apprenticeships Programme for 16 to 18 year olds is a priority and fully-funded by Government. Training for Apprenticeships for 19 to 24 year olds is part funded, with employers expected to make a contribution. Funding for apprentices aged 25 is very limited and employers are expected to make a part or full contribution.
