Take part in the Big Disco and help break a World Record

On the 1st of July 2016 Big Disco will see the world’s largest disco ball, 10.33m diameter, suspended from a crane in Leeds while more than 30,000 people dance to the same track, at the same time, at parties across Yorkshire.

Yorkshire Festival has commissioned Duke Studios as Artistic Lead for this unique and inspiring event that will see the whole of Yorkshire #bepartofit with the disco to end all discos, hundreds of little discos and DIY disco kits that everyone can apply to acquire, delivered in a cardboard box.

People across Yorkshire, from nurseries to nursing homes, can throw their own Little Disco and dance along when the public’s song is played. That song will be chosen by public vote from a list of 10 tracks chosen by Industry professionals, famous DJs and Leeds legends.
