Following the success of our first Funky Llama Club Night in October 2013 our steering group, Funky Llama Driving Force, is looking to programme our next two events here in Plymouth. Funky Llama Driving Force wishes to network with national, regional and local artists and is interested in music, dance, theatre, puppetry and comedy acts. Both Funky Llama events for 2014 will also have Open Mic stages.
If you, or anyone you know, is interested in performing in Plymouth at our first Funky Llama outdoor festival on 31st May 2014 and/or the Club Night on the 17th October 2014 please complete the performer application form
Expenses are paid for those coming from outside of Devon but unfortunately we are not able to pay fees. Funky Llama Driving Force is also looking for short film submissions to show at our Funky late night cinema at both events.
Funky Llama is about big performing arts events that are open to all. Everyone can learn new skills and make great friends by being a part of Funky Llama.
Differently abled adults run Funky Llama events, because the Theatre Royal Plymouth wants everyone to be able to make and enjoy the world of music, dance and theatre.
Our very first event was Funky Llama Cabaret in April 2010; Funky Llama Club Night took off in October 2013 and May 2014 sees the launch of Funky Llama Festival.
