Star pianists celebrate the arrival of spring

Two of England’s most versatile pianists will herald the imminent arrival of spring at a concert in Rickmansworth on Saturday, February 29.
Iain Farrington and John Reid will perform an exciting programme of dance-inspired piano duets that will include compositions by Maurice Ravel, Percy Grainger and Igor Stravinsky.
Iain Farrington is a gifted composer and arranger who has worked with many of the country's leading musicians, including Sir Bryn Terfel, Sir Paul McCartney and Lesley Garrett.
John Reid (pictured) is a professor at the Royal Academy of Music and is an outstanding chamber musician, soloist and accompanist.
The Three Rivers Music Society concert will be held in the Baptist Church, High Street, Rickmansworth WD3 1EH. It will begin at 7.30pm (pre-concert talk from 7pm). Tickets £16 at the door. Reduced price for members. Free entry for under-25s.
