Gino’s Italian Escape Live spices up final week of Big Wordfest
Gino D'Acampo’s Italian Escape Live event will help draw Watford’s Big Wordfest to a close after almost two months of writing, drawing, playing and performing all over Watford.
Lucky ticket holders will be treated to an evening of Gino’s trademark humour and culinary excitement but if you haven’t got tickets, don’t worry, there’s still fun to be had outside.
Come along to #LobbyLive at Watford Colosseum for a FREE spoken word and poetry reading session featuring musician and poet, Stephen Patmore, cooking up some delightful food for thought ahead of Gino’s live show. Stephen will take us on a journey from dark to light bringing an ‘alternative flavour to the cookery mood’.
There’s no need to wait for Friday though, there’s plenty more planned for the final week of Big Wordfest:
• Wednesday 26 – Author and historian, Alison Weir, talks about her highly anticipated upcoming book ‘Anne Boleyn: A king's obsession’ at Watford Central Library
• Thursday 27 – A creative writing workshop with author A L Michael at Waterstones Watford
• Friday 28 – Baby Rhyme Time at North Watford Library, #LobbyLive at Watford Colosseum and Gino’s Italian Escape Live at Watford Colosseum
• Saturday 29 – Five Minutes Peace – children’s activities based on the much loved book at Waterstones Watford
Tickets are still available for all events and many have free entry – for details visit www.watfordbigevents.co.uk/wordfest
