2 Guitars Weave Winter Magic

Classical Guitar Duo Alex Knight and Chris Glassfield are to play three concerts in December. The first is on the 15th December at The Parish Church, St Marychurch, Torquay, TQ1 4QY then on the 16th December at Landscove Village Hall, Landscove, TQ13 7LZ followed by the 19th December at St Edmund's Church, Fore Street, Kingsbridge, TQ7 1PP. The concerts start at 7.30 (doors open 7).

The duo's recorded music and live concerts have been experienced globally, with particular success in the Far East . Chris had a number one album in Korea and they have toured extensively in Japan and Korea as a duo.

Their recorded music and original compositions have been used in film and TV. Chris's compositions are frequently used on TV and radio and Alex's recordings have reached the ears of Princess Anne and Barack Obama.

In these winter season concerts, Chris and Alex will weave magic as they combine the beautiful tones of their instruments, playing a rich and varied programme that includes music from Renaissance and Baroque through to Classical and contemporary with some of their own compositions and arrangements.

You can expect to hear composers such as Bach, Vivaldi, Faure and others, as well
as a generous helping of original material.
