Exhibition: My Journey with Aspergers Syndrome by Aron Glasser

Exhibition: My Journey with Aspergers Syndrome by Aron Glasser

Hi, my name is Aron James Glasser.
I have Asperger’s Syndrome,
a condition that can make it harder for me to blend into society.

Many young people like myself with Asperger’s Syndrome can find getting a job, making friends and socialising deeply challenging in today’s modern life.

I love to paint pictures that reflect my emotional perceptions of situations and show what it feels like for me on the inside, as sometimes pictures can speak louder than words.

I also try to explore my condition in a positive way.
It is important to me that people can relate to how challenging real life situations can be for me and how it is easy to feel misunderstood when you have Asperger’s or Aspies for short.

I have attended lots of conferences recently at Hatfield University and Edminton House in London speaking with teachers, carers and social workers to give them insight into my life experiences, which has helped to build my self-confidence. I want to achieve awareness in Herts, Beds and Bucks counties that having this condition is a blessing not a curse!

We all have equal rights to have a better life. I want to display my artwork to the general public in the future and continue to share my experiences with others.

I have also produced a video on YouTube called “Asperger’s Syndrome paintings”, in which I talk in greater detail about issues as: inspirations, social community, work life, family, friends and many other subjects.

Please feel free to comment on this video link bellow.
