POP-UP @ Huddersfield Art Gallery

POP-UP @ Huddersfield Art Gallery

From Tuesday 26th May until Friday 29th May, we'll be relocating into the former Sound & Vision Library on lower ground floor - whilst re-polishing work is carried out on some of the gallery floors. We'll be offering free half term arts and crafts activities, exhibitions by local artists, and more ... and the coffee lounge will be relocating with us too!

Our pop-up will feature displays of artwork by William Jordan (whose work features in the Kirklees Collection), together with paintings from ARTbound (http://www.artboundcommunity.com/gallery), a light installation by Emma Collinson and birdboxes by Fabric Lenny (made in collaboration with local schools).

Our artist-led activity sessions, suitable for ages 4-14 (under 8s must be accompanied), will be as follows:

Tuesday 26th May, 11am to 1pm – Portraiture (with Damian Clark)
Wednesday 27th May, 11am to 1pm – Abstraction (with Mark Milnes)
Thursday 28th may, 11am to 1pm – Junk sculpture (with Mark Milnes)
Friday 29th May, 11am to 1pm – Landscape painting and collage (with Damian Clark)

All four sessions are free of charge.

During the week there will be activity sheets available which focus on the artwork of William Jordan.

We hope to see you there!
