Museums in Motion - Royston Family Project

MUSEUMS IN MOTION

A project managed by BEEE Creative and delivered by makeAMPLIFY, supported by Arts Council England, Hertfordshire Music Service, Watford Borough Council and Public Health Hertfordshire.

• Take part in a 3-day arts project
• Work with two professional artists
• See your work turned into a new installation for Royston Museum

Fifteen people are needed to work with professional artists, makeAMPLIFY (dancer Jennifer Irons and audio-visual artist Zach Walker) to make a new installation for Royston Museum. The project will include movement/dance and sound/film recordings to explore the heritage behind mobile phone functions. The artists will use your movements and the film footage you capture to create a film installation that will be set up in the museum for the general public to visit!

Aimed at family groups working together, suitable children aged between 5 – 14 years old and their parents/carers. Younger siblings aged 5 and under can also take part if coming with older siblings and their parents/carers.

WHEN?: Workshops: 8 & 9 August 2016, 10.30am – 2.30pm & 10 August 2016, 1 - 4pm
(please note that you will need to attend all three days)

Installation launch: 2 September 2016 at 11am
