Audition days for 13-19 yr olds to take part in Les Miserable
In August 2017, a team of top professionals from West End musicals will arrive in Batley & Spen to stage a unique and thrilling production of the greatest of musicals, Les Misérables. If you are aged between 13 and 19 and either live or study in the area, you are exactly the person the West End theatre team wants to meet.
The disused Blakeridge Mill is being regenerated in the heart of Batley, and will be the focus of the UK when over 100 young people from the area stage a professional-standard production of the much-loved musical Les Misérables, the show that was the favourite of Jo Cox, as a celebration of her life. Featuring wonderful songs including ‘Do You Hear the People Sing?’ and ‘I Dreamed a Dream’, this production will showcase the talent of the young people of Batley & Spen.
It will also be your chance to work directly with directors, musicians,
choreographers and designers from a host of the biggest theatre shows
in London,
