Eclipse is one of the UK’s most innovative, Black-led touring theatre and production companies, inspiring new narratives about the Black and Global Majority experience.

They commission, develop, produce and present new work by Black and Global Majority creatives in partnership with venues and collaborators.

With Lekan Lawal in post as Eclipse’s new Artistic Director and Joint Chief Executive, they are now seeking to appoint an Executive Director and Joint Chief Executive. This is a hugely exciting opportunity to support the delivery of inspiring and dynamic creative ambitions for Black and Global Majority artists and creatives in the North and across the UK.

They want someone who is ready for the next step or who is working in a similar role elsewhere. You might come from a programming, directing, writing or producing background. Whatever your foundations, they are looking for drive, ambition and a keen understanding of the role Eclipse currently plays and will play in the coming years.

An innovative thinker and empowering leader, you will have experience in leading people and demonstrate strategic awareness at a senior level. You will be able to use your operational and managerial skills to support the creative ambition for the organisation and provide solid executive leadership to a small but dedicated team. Together with Lekan, the Executive Director and Joint Chief Executive will play a fundamental role in delivering the organisation’s future success.
