Marketing Officer, Northern School of Contemporary Dance

Northern School of Contemporary Dance is a specialist higher education institution based in Leeds, renowned for its innovative undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Students go to them from all over the world and from all backgrounds to train in dance, and they equip them with the skills they need to become the dance artists, educators and leaders of the future.

As well as their quality higher education provision, they have an ambitious Learning & Participation department delivering outreach work to local people of all ages and abilities on a weekly basis, a public programme of performances from national and international companies at their on-site venue - Riley Theatre, which seats 250 people, and an award-winning postgraduate dance company - VERVE, which in a normal year tours the breadth of the UK and into Europe.

They are looking for a talented, motivated and hard-working individual to contribute effectively to marketing across all these areas. As Marketing Officer you’ll join a small, busy and committed team with a large turnover of work. You’ll have previous marketing experience, possess excellent communication skills and have a strong attention to detail.
