Our Big Gig - 10th to 12th July 2015

Our Big Gig is a community music celebration taking place across England from the 10th - 12th July 2015. This annual event aims to bring communities together to celebrate their local musical talents and get more people involved in music making.

Organised by Superact with funding from the Department of Communities and Local Government Our Big Gig offers funding and support to community groups to enable them to organise free community music events in July 2015.

Building on our successful pilot with Spacehive in 2014 Superact will be supporting community groups to fund and host their own events, plus we will be pledging money.

Superact will be offering:
• Funding of up to £100 for events
• Free training and support
• Banners for events
• Marketing material templates

To receive £100 towards your Our Big Gig event this year:

• Your project needs to be live and fundraising for your gig on Spacehive by the 26th April
• You'll need to have your fundraising target set to between £500 and £4,000
• Have a gig that is taking place between 10th - 12th July (some exceptions to the date are possible, please contact your Regional Manager)
• Have a gig that is free and open for anyone to attend
