Hours: 16 hours per week (flexible working hours)
Length of contract: 12 months
Salary: £25,000 pro rata
Reports to:The Board of Trustees of Thornton & Allerton Community Association Ltd

South Square is a visual arts and heritage resource centre based within a Grade II listed building in Thornton, Bradford, West Yorkshire. The centre incorporates artists' studios, a community space, a fine art framer, craft shop and cafe. It is home to South Square Gallery, a grassroots exhibition space committed to providing a professional and supportive resource for artists and emerging curators, and to facilitating high quality contemporary art in a locality where visual art is under-represented.

The Trustees are seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible alongside the Learning Manager for delivering a one-year project funded by the Arts Council.

The project has two strands:

- Creating opportunities for emerging curators through a Curatorial Internship scheme with The Hepworth Wakefield
- Researching and developing strategies for engaging with a wide range of audiences through a programme of outreach activity and in partnership with regional museums and learning organisations.
