Are you involved in the tourist industry? Want to contribute your views to the Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee's inquiry into tourism?
The Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee is holding a panel discussion event in Exeter on Monday 12 January 2015 at 3-5pm to hear views from members of the public on tourism issues. Members of the public are invited to attend this free event and help inform the Committee's current inquiry into tourism and decide what questions to ask at future evidence sessions, including with government ministers.
The panel discussion will look at:
1. Encouraging tourism from foreign visitors to less-visited areas of the UK
2. Boosting tourism in seaside towns
3. Reducing the regulatory burden on businesses, including VAT
4. Increasing skills and training in the tourist industry
5. How best to promote tourism including through public funding and local partnerships.
