The Batley Picture Show

The Batley Picture Show will be an outdoor spectacle, created by internationally acclaimed theatre company Periplum for Batley Festival. It features projected films, fire, pyrotechnics, music & dramatic action taking place in and around the audience as the show celebrates the town’s people, places and unique character through this special one-off event. Taking Part

The Batley Picture Show offers the opportunity for up to 15 local participants to perform as part of Periplum. Come and have fun working as a team to help celebrate all that is great about Batley.

The Batley Picture Show is being specially created as the night-time spectacle for this year’s Batley Festival. All you need are solid walking shoes (preferably black), black trousers and wet weather gear. No previous acting experience is necessary, just an enthusiasm for outdoor work and an interest in performance.

Volunteer Performers are required to be a minimum 16 years old and need to attend rehearsals and performance at the following times:

6.00pm – 8pm on Thurs 8th September 2016
4.30pm – 10pm on Friday 9th September 2016
4.30pm – 10pm on Saturday 10th September 2016
