Batley and Spen Youth Theatre: Shakespeare with Alice White

Missing after-school drama club? Or is it your back-to-school resolution to try something new?

There's still chance to join in the fun with Batley and Spen Youth Theatre Company's summer school every Tuesday evening on Zoom at 7pm.

Completely free and open to anyone living in Kirklees, over the next couple of weeks experienced actors, tutors and directors will be leading creative sessions on Shakespeare, acting for screen and auditioning. The summer school will end on 22 September with a Q&A session with some very special guests...

This week we'll be joined by Alice White, to teach us everything performers need to know about The Bard.

Alice is an actress and voice coach. She has worked professionally as an actress for over 10 years appearing in theatres around the country. You might have seen her on the telly too, she's been in TV programmes such as The Crown and Casualty. She teaches Voice and Accents at many of the UK’s leading drama schools.
