REMEMBRANCE DAY SUNRISE - MOUTH OF THE TEIGN ESTUARY

REMEMBRANCE DAY SUNRISE - MOUTH OF THE TEIGN ESTUARY

Taken on the 11th November 2012. A cold start of Remembrance Day with the temperature around two degrees. A perfect morning to think and reflect. Moored in the mouth of the Teign Estuary are two Shaldon Passenger ferry's. There has been a ferry service across the Teign since the 13th century and one of the present boats is reputed to be the oldest working ferry boat in the country.
