Envisage Arts CIC Art Therapy Service
Envisage Arts CIC, is based in Batley West Yorkshire supporting the local community through the following interventions.
Art Psychotherapy delivered by qualified Art Psychotherapist HCPC registered and BAAT member Sue Ellis. Art therapy supports a wide range of difficulties, disabilities or diagnosis in all age groups, from the very young to the older generations.
Envisage Arts CIC was established in 2010 to work in partnership with Probation providing supervision for adults serving community Service Orders. Dean Ellis, Director, manages the contract for supervising the adult offenders on Community Payback.
Our primary aim is to create direct benefits for local communities and the environment, support offenders in gaining new skills, develop a sense of pride in their communities and the work they are involved in.
In addition over the years we have been involved in community arts projects that we are proud of. You can see one such project in our community garden, a totem pole carved by local chainsaw sculptor working with local young people. It tells the story of the life cycle of bees.
Through the work we do we have recognised a need to support Veterans and their families. After much consultation we have now set up a project, 'Salute' to create a therapeutic intervention, to support Veterans and their Families.
