A minimum of 0.5 time allowance for Music Centre, with opportunities for a fulltime position
with either appropriate teaching or additional leadership responsibilities

Required from January 2016

Hertfordshire Music Service has a vacant post for Head of Mid-Herts Centre for Music & Arts (Hatfield) This post will oversee and develop both tuition and ensembles in this Centre, working closely with the Area Head and instrumental teachers. The successful applicant will have the opportunity and scope to build on their own personal strengths and interests which could attract additional responsibility time.
This post is a leadership role and would either be on the HMS Payscale (if teaching also undertaken) or Soulbury.

In order to apply you should have experience as a teacher, either instrumental or classroom, and experience as a performer and musician. Experience in team leadership and management would also be advantageous.
