Art in Nature - Horsham Gallery
An amazing and colourful exhibition of over 25 paintings by Warnham artist Alison Ingram.
Alison has a regional reputation for her ability to capture nature both in abstract and photo-realistic form.
Dominating the display the painting of a majestic stag combines raw strength with subtle curves and dramatic colour to produce a work of great beauty.
Alison’s ability to select colours and to create geometric backgrounds, delivers tension and drama to studies of puffins, deer and other wildlife.
More traditional paintings capture the essence of each animal: be it warmth, humour or cheekiness.
Thanks to the Arts Council the museum can offer the chance to help buy original art work by Alison with an interest free loan.
If you are captivated by swooping swallows, mesmerised by slinking wolves, or entranced by gliding swans please come and see this rather different exhibition.
