Open studio and networking evening for Torbay artists

Devon Open Studios 2011 - Deadline for applictations 10 Apri 2011

What?. A chance to meet other visual artists as well as writers, dancers, film makers, media, musicians in the Bay and visit the studio of local artist, Jackie Wills. An informal evening, relax with a glass of wine and find out a little more from a participating artist of Devon Open Studios (taking place in September 2011) and from Joanna Radford, Chairman of Devon Artist Network, which is the organisation that backs the event. Torbay Council are setting aside an amount of money to help market this event locally so artists taking part can discuss how best to allocate this money so we can give the area a real push. Ultimately however this is a relaxed opportunity to meet other local artists (and maybe some people to exhibit with) and find out a bit more about the event. There is still a little time to apply for this year, or maybe its something you might consider for the future. So whether you are looking to find out more, or just want to meet up with other artists, make sure you come along. Do not let not having a venue stop you applying as there are options which could interest you.

Who? Open to all artists (Torbay & surrounding area)

When? Tuesday 5th April, 6.30-7.30pm with the option for a walk around the Cockington area afterwards
