Mermaid Calendar on sale

The Brixham Mermaids have 'bared' all in order to raise funds for repairs at Shoalstone outdoor pool. The calendars are on sale at the Breakwater Bistro or Brixham Town Hall, price £7.95

Age doesn’t come into it when taking part in a ‘naked calendar’ for a good cause. So, a dozen local ladies aged from 40 to 73 decided to take up Shoalstone’s appeal for the funding needed to combat damage from winter storms.

Friends from Pilates classes and then moving on to enjoy sea swimming, the Brixham Mermaids decided to use their positivity to help others. After a trip to Brixham Theatre to see the WI film of ‘Calendar Girls’ the Brixham Mermaid Calendar was born. Jo’s husband, Trevor Taylor, was persuaded to be photographer producing a very professional and artistic calendar for next year, 2024.
