Why take the Explore Arts Award?
This course develops a wider knowledge and understanding of the Arts and encourages the development of leadership skills and communication. The students set themselves challenges and explore how the Arts impact our everyday life and surroundings. Whilst working as part of a group towards a performance, each student completes their own individual log book and evaluates what the Arts means to them.

What can an Explore level Arts Award lead to?
Once your child has completed the Explore level, they will be eligible to take Bronze Arts Award. After Bronze, is Silver (equivalent to a GCSE) and Gold (equivalent to an A Level and earns 35 UCAS Points). These qualifications are recognised on the NQF Framework and so are accredited by Trinity College. Arts Award are available for anyone under the age of 25, so by starting their Arts Award journey now, your child has the chance to obtain Gold Arts Award and the time to enjoy achieving it.

What does Explore Arts Award involve?
There are four aspects to the Explore Arts Awards;
• 'Inspired’ by new Arts forms
• 'Explore' their relationship with the Arts
• 'Create' a group performance - The student doesn't have to be a performer to do this course! We need photographers, technicians, dancers, musicians and actors. So, if you would rather be backstage, that's great because we need you!
• 'Present' their findings of Art from the three day course.

There are only 15 places on this exciting course and the cost of three fun packed days is £120. £50 deposit is required to secure your place.
The cost includes a workshop, three days of tuition, log books, all resources and the exam fee.
