Kinky & Quirky's Bonkers Burlesque and Boogie
It’s the start of a brand new term for Exeter’s grooviest night out as burlesque funsters K & Q, a.k.a The Bells, launch their Autumn/Winter shows over two nights in September and keep it going all the way ‘til Christmas.
For the last 12 months Exeter’s retro and burlesque lovin' folk have been treated to an array of burlesque beauties and now the reviews are in, the website is launched, the performers are booked and the new season starts with a bang - the mantra is ‘expect the unexpected’!
Forget swine flu - we have a bucket load of great burlesque performances for the ultimate sensory overload in one evening!
Raising temperatures and setting pulses racing are Lola de LaFuega and Soup du Jour who have joined forces to become Comme Ci, Comme Ca Burlesque.

In 2008 a performer, unlike any other, took to the stage at the London Burlesque Festival and immediately went to the top of the Kinky & Quirky Wish List. So it ain’t called Kinky & Quirky for nothing and to really give everyone something to talk about on Monday morning Stand-Up, Comedy Magician, Contortionist and Escapologist Chris Cross is joining in the fun! An outstanding character with his crazy hair, tall towering structure and his trademark yellow and black, Chris Cross just wows the audience with his stage show which has been seen by 1,000s of people.
The soundtrack to the evening is provided by DJ Breeze who always spins a great selection of tunes for a crowd that loves to dance so expect a mixture of blues, mambo, rock ‘n’ roll, retro sleaze and cool cheese; the joint is always jumping.
And Havana is a restaurant too so guests can enjoy dinner or a snack from the exclusive Kinky & Quirky menu.
The whole night promises to be a show to be remembered and it’s gonna be the hottest ticket in town so book tickets and tables in advance for £6.00 per person by emailing quirky@kinkyandquirky.com
The event is strictly over 18’s only and doors open at 8.00pm with the proceedings starting after 8.30pm.
