Kinky & Quirky’s ‘Red Velvet’ Burlesque & Boogie 27/11/10
A large fully lit, red curtained, central stage, great sound system operated from a gold lame dj booth, wooden dance floor and cabaret style, tiered tables and chairs with candles – this venue evokes another era.
This month sees Kinky & Quirky offering shimmies, sequins and all that jazz with an exotic array of performers embracing the vintage vibe.
Trained by the much loved Venus Noir, the gorgeous Geisha Go Disco has graced burlesque events in and around Bristol and is the co-director of a hugely successful show in Bath. Immaculately groomed with a very authentic look this gal is every inch the pin-up.
The cupcake cutie Lily Belle is back at K&Q with glittering costumes,
great dancing and a real pinch of va-va- voom.
International performer Domino Burlesk is an intoxicating cocktail of striking glamour and theatrical flare. A regular on the stages of the big UK burlesque nights she combines wit, pastiche and visual intrigue
with Old Hollywood allure.
Kinky & Quirky’s extremely popular night attracts quite a following by dedicating the entire night to top class burlesque artistes and rockin’ tunes; blues, mambo, rock ‘n’ roll, retro sleaze and cool cheese, the joint will be jumping and you should book early to get a table and tickets.
The event is strictly over 18’s only and there will be two levels of ticket pricing – VIP tickets at £10.00 per head which offers allocated front row table seating with waitress service or advanced tickets priced at £6.00 per head which offers allocated table seating on a first book – first serve basis.
