Family Programme Manager, Opera North

Opera North is England’s national opera company in the North and one of Europe’s leading arts organisations. Through its Education department the Company seeks to encourage people, of all ages and from all walks of life, to explore the work of Opera North; in doing so it seeks to break down perceived barriers to engagement with the artform. It seeks to champion excellence in opera and related fields by, with and for young people and to use arts participation and performance to enhance the health and well-being of people in the communities where we work.

An opportunity has arisen for a Family Programme Manager to collaborate with colleagues across Opera North to develop and deliver a range of participative activity, performances and events for families at Opera North’s redeveloped home base in Leeds as well as venues and community spaces across the north of England.

The successful candidate will have significant experience of project management, professional experience or training in classical music and a proven ability to develop creative projects. This post is subject to satisfactory DBS clearance and the ability to work across locations.

Salary: £26,401 per annum
