Dewsbury 'Not-the-Fringe' Festival

The Dewsbury ‘Not-The-Fringe’ Festival: a series of lunch-time events presented by Manasamitra in partnership with Dewsbury Minster. Working with local artists and up to 100 people. we aim to develop a regular and ongoing event based in Dewsbury. Each event will host a ‘guest artist(s)’ and will feature a local community-based group on the programme. The events may feature songs, poetry, speech or sound according to the group’s preference, creating a mini-festival to showcase and celebrate the creative diversity in the district. Events will be on Tuesdays at 1.00pm on the following dates:

• 24th March
• 31st March
• 21st April
• 28th April
• 7th May
• 12th May
Launch event on 25th February FREE. All other concerts £3 on the door.
